Emoluments Clause and the End of Trump

The day before Trump took the oath of office he and his staff gave a long and fraudulent explanation of the relationship between his businesses and the presidency. It was a lie, and reporters said that the stacks of paper which supposedly were connected to the businesses were stacks of black paper neatly arranged in folders. NOTHING THERE. Congress and the AGs of DC and MD took the emoluments case to federal court. Now that case is proceeding and the DoJ is trying to appeal an unsettled case in hopes of getting a sympathetic appeals court judge.
